CERTIFICATION

The certification of gymnastics officials is administered by USA Gymnastics Judging Accreditation Program. There is a network of Test Administrators (TA's) throughout the nation who administers examinations. Please see the calendar for upcoming test dates in Southern California.

The exam is administered at various levels:

§         Level 5/6 - Compulsory, Written test only

§         Level 7/8 - Optional, Written and Practical (film) tests

§         Level 9 - Optional, Written and Practical (film) tests

§         Level 10 - Optional, Written and Practical (film) tests

Judges must gain Levels 5/6 and 7/8 to be qualified to test Level 9.  They must attain Level 9 before testing Level 10.
